At Mission, we like exploring countries and regions that are better than the credit they’re typically given. That’s the case with our Peru Inambari. From the Sandia Valley of Puno, Peru, small farm holders contributed coffee to the Inambari Cooperative. This lot is fully washed Bourbon and Caturra, which yields a sweet, floral character. In the brew, you will taste sweet cocoa and grape jelly-like notes, with a malic (white grape) acidity and a floral (chamomile-like) aftertaste. If you have never had a coffee from Peru before, this is a good place to start. Or, if you have a preconceived notion of what a Peru coffee should taste like, we invite you to challenge that expectation.
*We roast all of our coffee to order. If we receive your online order on Monday or Tuesday before Midnight, we’ll ship it out by Thursday. If you place your order after, (Wed-Sun), we’ll roast and ship it out to you the beginning of the following week.
