Tasting Notes: Chocolate, Cherry, Balanced
The Colombia Inga Aponte, grown at an average elevation of 2150 meters above sea level is a great example of the the excellence of Colombian coffee coming from the department of Nariño. It’s high elevation and proximity to the Galeras Volcano, which provides nutrient rich ash for the soil, translates into the cup as incredible sweetness and complexity. A stone fruit sweetness and chocolate lingering finish create an exceptionally balanced cup.
